About Us

Brian and Theresa were old friends in Tulsa, graduating together from Edison High School in 1982. With diplomas in hand and the world at their feet, they took off in different directions in search of their destinies. Both swore they'd never come back.

They attended different colleges and lost track of each other quickly because there were no cell phones, internet, or email back then. Brian settled in Northwest Arkansas, where he practiced law and explored the beautiful trails and byways of The Natural State. Theresa headed to Europe before sinking roots in the Washington, DC area. She also became a lawyer.

Forty years after kissing this town and each other goodbye, they crossed paths at Mondo's during their high school reunion. Theresa had returned during the pandemic as part of the Tulsa Remote program and Brian had popped over from Arkansas, curious to see old friends. An after-party chat at R-Bar confirmed they wanted to keep talking. That turned out to be the beginning of so many things...

Golden Bison Beverage Company developed from Brian and Theresa's long-time love of fun and adventure coupled with their new-found love of Oklahoma. Having been gone for so long, they returned with fresh eyes to discover a unique and vibrant ecosystem of people, plants, and possibility.
